DULUTH, GEORGIA – AMI®, a global leader in powering, managing and securing the world’s connected digital infrastructure through its BIOS, BMC and security solutions, is pleased to announce its participation in the recently released NIST® Interagency Report publication 8320A entitled “Hardware-Enabled Security: Container Platform Security Prototype” in collaboration with the NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE), Intel® Corporation and Scarfone Cybersecurity.

This Interagency Report outlines hardware-enabled security techniques and technologies for safeguarding and improving container deployments in multi-tenant cloud environments. It also describes a proof-of-concept implementation of this approach using the AMI TruE® Platform Security Solution from AMI. This proof-of-concept is intended to be a blueprint or template for the general security community to follow in data center and enterprise cloud environments. The publication is targeted towards security professionals, system administrators and other information technology (IT) professionals for cloud service providers along with hardware, firmware, and software developers and is now available on the NIST and National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) websites at the following locations:
