AMI Embraces Open-Source and Open Standards

One Codebase.

One Core Architecture.

One Developer Experience.

Our Open-Source Mission and Goals

Defragmentation

From silicon vendor to system maker, AMI’s focus is on defragmentation of a multitude of boot and BMC open-source components into one clean, coherent code tree that you can trust.

Standardization

AMI is an active member of major open standards bodies and actively drives the formation, adoption and implementation of boot, management and security specifications.

Partnership

AMI contributes upstream technology updates, patches, fixes and test scripts to ensure that open-source firmware remains secure, stable and future-proof.

AMI’s Commitment to Open-Source

AMI is a driving force in transforming the firmware ecosystem, embracing open architecture, open standards and open-source solutions to meet the evolving needs of cloud service providers, ODMs, OEMs and the broader technology community. We maintain deep collaboration with the Open Compute Project (OCP), DMTF, UEFI and other leading standards bodies to help ensure that the most advanced open firmware solutions are readily available to the ecosystem.
