This announcement continues the tradition of AMI providing reference BIOS support for the AMD EPYC™ platform, as AMI was previously selected as the shipping reference BIOS provider for the original AMD EPYC™ 7000 Series server processors and platforms.
The new, second-generation AMD EPYC™ 7002 processors will feature up to 64 cores, utilizing the “Zen 2” architecture to deliver high performance while reducing the total cost of ownership by up to 50% across numerous workloads.
