NORCROSS, GEORGIA/MUNICH, GERMANY: – AMI, a global leader in BIOS and UEFI firmware, server and remote management tools, data storage products and unique solutions based on the Linux® and Android™ operating systems, successfully hosted its Aptio V UEFI/BIOS Summit in Munich, Germany from October 10-11.
This year’s Aptio® V UEFI/BIOS Summit was a fully attended event, with customers and partners from various companies joining AMI in Munich. Attendees of the summit had the opportunity to experience engaging and informative seminars where they not only learned about the latest innovations to AMI’s flagship Aptio® V UEFI firmware, but also about the supplementary tools and features that complement Aptio V. The interactive seminars allowed attendees to engage with AMI’s technology and learn about how they can create a competitive edge in their respective industries by utilizing the most efficient, innovative technology.
The main topics of the event centered on security components, protection from malware, Redfish/Remote BIOS and the latest Aptio V features. Attendees had the chance to talk directly with AMI engineers and received tips and tricks on how to optimize boot times and utilize Fastboot for faster system deployment. AMI engineers also went through an overview of remote BIOS features and demonstrated how communication happens between the BIOS and oData server. Overall, the summit was a great success and AMI was pleased to work with its customers and partners at the event.
