INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM, SAN FRANCISCO, CA: AMI, a global leader in BIOS and UEFI firmware, server management and data storage innovations, is pleased to once again announce its participation in the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) San Francisco, which takes place this year from August 18 – 20, 2015. AMI will be located in Booth 460 of the Technology Showcase held at the Moscone Center West for the duration of the event.
At IDF San Francisco 2015, AMI will provide live demonstrations of its MegaRAC® manageability solutions – including its flagship MegaRAC SP-X BMC Firmware. To highlight the new, recently-added features in MegaRAC SP-X, AMI will showcase RESTful APIs in support of Redfish, AMI’s patented multi-node support and HTML5 support. In support of the recently announced Intel® Innovation Engine, AMI will demonstrate its optimized MegaRAC PM-X for RTOS. These solutions represent key building blocks of the support that AMI offers for Intel® Rack Scale Architecture.
“Our MegaRAC solutions for Intel® Rack Scale Architecture and Innovation Engine underscore our readiness for the next chapter in server platform management and data center solutions,” said Subramonian Shankar, President and CEO of AMI.
“The Innovation Engine is a small, embedded, Intel-architecture processor and I/O subsystem built into future Intel data center platforms,” said Lisa Spelman, General Manager of Data Center Marketing at Intel. “Firmware such as MegaRAC PM-X running on the IE can improve or differentiate the system-builders’ platforms in a wide range of ways, including manageability, cost reduction or security.”
AMI warmly welcomes its customers, partners and media representatives to IDF San Francisco and invites attendees to visit Booth 460 for an up-close and personal view of the latest in AMI innovation.
