NORCROSS, GA, USA – AMI, Inc., (AMI), a leader in BIOS, remote management, solutions for Android™ and data storage innovations, announced that its Extensible Setup Architecture (ESA) for Aptio® V UEFI BIOS Firmware was selected by Supermicro for use in their Gaming Workstation C7Z97-M/C7Z97-MF/C7Z97-OCE/C7X99-OCE/C7X99-OCE-F motherboards with CSE-GS50-000R/CSE-GS5B-000R chassis.

ESA is a feature-rich, streamlined graphical setup environment for Aptio V that gives developers options to create a BIOS setup environment with menus and design capabilities that include: unique branding options, the ability to drag and drop boot ordering, customization of fonts, background colors, images, vector graphics, a resizable menu layout and more.

These unique and extensive BIOS customization capabilities enable AMI’s OEM and ODM customers to create industry leading product diversification and differentiation.

It also offers excellent security and health monitoring capabilities along with full touch screen support for the BIOS for tablet and touch-based devices, including an integrated soft keyboard. AMI has seen these as features that are increasingly in high demand as this market segment continues to enjoy impressive growth.
