AMI Announces Support for AMD’s Next Generation Silicon

NORCROSS, GEORGIA: – AMI, a global leader in BIOS and UEFI firmware, server and remote management tools, data storage products and unique solutions based on the Linux® and Android™ operating systems, is proud to announce support for AMD’s Next Generation Silicon.

The support for AMD Next Generation Silicon provides support across multiple reference platforms. AMI has been selected by AMD as the reference BIOS provider for all reference platforms. AMD’s next generation silicon will have support for multi-socket configurations with a high number of cores per socket. AMI has been working with various technology partners with successful power-ons and more testing is planned for the future. Redfish capabilities and support have also been validated alongside AMI’s BMC firmware to give customers more options when designing their platforms.
