Embedded World 2018 is finally in the books, and we thought it would be a good time to provide a little recap of the event from our perspective and a peek at the booth we hosted during the exhibition.
Embedded World is an international embedded technology trade show that takes place in Nuremberg, Germany every year. The event is hosted within the Nuremberg Exhibition Center and approximately 1,000 exhibitors attend to present the latest and greatest technologies, covering all aspects of embedded systems. Embedded World has garnered the attention of tech enthusiasts around the world, attracting more than 30,000 international visitors. Attendees have the opportunity to learn more about new embedded products and technologies while also networking with representatives from various well-known companies.
This year the event was held from February 27 to March 1, and a great number of visitors stopped by for meetings, discussions, or just to check out the technology and demos that were on display.
This year’s presentation was focused on firmware offerings for various architectures, including Embedded Controller (EC) Firmware, and MegaRAC® BMC Firmware. We also presented the latest enhancements to our flagship Aptio® V UEFI firmware, Remote Management via Redfish™ interfaces, along with developments in boot time reduction, porting, testing and firmware security.
Our booth was home to multiple presentations and live demonstrations by AMI representatives, as well as a showcase of hardware from AMI partners and customers that incorporate our technology and solutions.
Here are a few photos from in and around our booth at this year’s event:
