Mobile World Congress (MWC) is the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry, organized by the GSM Association, commonly known as GSMA, and held each year in the “Mobile World Capital” of Barcelona. This global event is regarded as the biggest and best mobile industry event and features a massive exhibition, an award-winning conference, outstanding networking opportunities, partner programs, the GLOMO Awards and more.
During Mobile World Congress, MegaRAC Composer Pod Management Software from AMI will be featured as the management component of an interoperability demonstration staged by Intel® Corporation in Hall 3, Stand 3E31 at MWC. The demonstration will showcase pooled FPGA technology from Intel in an InCloudRack system from China-based Inspur, an Intel® Cloud Builders total solution and service provider.
Attendees will experience how MegaRAC Composer can browse physical resources at the rack, chassis and system level, all through an intuitive web-based user interface. As part of the demonstration, MegaRAC Composer will be used to compose and assign the available Inspur physical resources to create, deploy and manage a logical node.
By leveraging Intel® Rack Scale Architecture and the Project Scorpio/ODCC specifications, Inspur’s InCloudRack modular design combines centralized power, cooling, and management into a rack level converged infrastructure that revolutionizes how modern data centers and cloud environment can be built.
MegaRAC Composer Pod Management Software is fully compliant with the Intel® Rack Scale Design and DMTF Redfish™ standards, to offer the advantage of demand-driven dynamic scaling to optimize datacenter resource utilization. It also allows for the composition of physical resources based on templates, which can then be stored in the software and reused as a time-saving feature. In addition, MegaRAC Composer gives users the ability to power on, force off, and gracefully shutdown composed nodes.
