AMI Receives “Lenovo Diamond Award” at Lenovo Supplier Conference in Hangzhou, China

NORCROSS, GEORGIA, USA / HANGZHOU, CHINA: AMI, a global leader in BIOS and UEFI firmware, server and remote management tools, data storage products and unique solutions based on the Linux® and Android™ operating systems, is pleased to announce the receipt of the “Lenovo Diamond Award” at the Lenovo Supplier Conference held recently by Lenovo Group in Hangzhou, China.

The Lenovo Diamond Award was given to AMI in recognition of outstanding support in its UEFI BIOS development, platform support and validation work for a number of Lenovo products, including ThinkServer® server platforms, ThinkPad® notebook products and ThinkStation® workstations, as well as mobile platforms, networking products and more.

Notably, this Lenovo Diamond Award acknowledges over forty different business engagements currently in progress between the two companies. This is the first time that AMI has been honored to receive the Diamond Supplier Award from Lenovo Group.

Commenting on the Diamond Support Award and its significance to the relationship the two companies share, Michael Brinkman, Executive Director of the Lenovo System x / ThinkServer Firmware & ToolsCenter at Lenovo remarked that “It is a great pleasure to award the Lenovo Diamond Award to AMI, in recognition of both their outstanding work in the numerous engagements between our two companies and the long history of partnership that we have shared. We look forward to many more years of strong collaboration and mutual support between us.”
