NORCROSS, GEORGIA: – AMI, a global leader in UEFI and BMC firmware, is pleased to announce its annual AMI Server Solutions Summit, which will be held from May 26 – 27 at the AMI Taiwan Branch Office in Taipei. This annual event, filled with presentations, breakout sessions and hands-on demonstrations, is a unique opportunity to hear first-hand from AMI and its Technology Partners on topics ranging from UEFI firmware for servers, BMC management, scale-out data center applications and much more.
The AMI Server Solutions Summit is open to AMI Technology Partners and OEM/ODM customers, held each year at the company’s Taiwan location just prior to the start of COMPUTEX TAIPEI. The 2016 edition of this event will focus on the strength that AMI exhibits in providing integrated system-level features in BIOS, BMC and related tools that enable its OEM and ODM partners to add value to their datacenter, cloud and enterprise products and speed time to market.
Topics to be covered in the two-day event include RAS, configuration, update and deployment of servers and much more. Live demonstrations of AMI server products including UEFI Firmware, Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) technology and presentations from AMI Technology Partners such as Avago, Broadcom, Cavium, Intel® Corporation and Microsoft are sure to make the AMI Server Solutions Summit a must-attend event.
AMI Technology Partners and guest speakers are excited about the event and its new format. Speaking on behalf of Cavium, Larry Wikelius, Vice President Software Ecosystem and Solutions Group, said, “The AMI Server Solutions Summit is an outstanding forum to highlight the partnership that Cavium and AMI have established. The combination of Cavium’s innovative ThunderX® Workload Optimized SOCs for next generation data center and cloud applications and AMI’s recognized server management and firmware solutions has proven to be a powerful platform for ODM and OEM partners. The Summit will enable us to highlight additional details about our product development and integration with AMI.”
Speaking about the event, Subramonian Shankar, President, CEO and Founder of AMI, commented that “This is the first year we have had representatives from both the BIOS and BMC sides of our business at this event, to reflect the synergy and the unique set of skills and technologies that only AMI can provide to OEM and ODM partners. We are excited to host this forum and look forward to another great event filled with valuable information and networking opportunities for our valued guests.”
