AMI Participates in New Arm® Compliance Program and ServerReady™ Launch

Oct 19, 2018 | Press Release

NORCROSS, GEORGIA – AMI, a global leader in BIOS, remote management tools, network data storage products and unique solutions based on the Linux® and Android™ operating systems, is pleased to announce its forthcoming participation in the Arm® Server Compliance Program and Arm ServerReady™ launch.

Arm ServerReady is a compliance program that allows partners to deploy Arm-based servers, based on a set of standards. The program complements the earlier release of the Server Base System Architecture (SBSA) specifications and Server Base Boot Requirement (SBBR) specifications, alongside Arm’s Server Architectural Compliance Suite (ACS) v1.6. Compliant systems that adhere to the Arm ServerReady Terms and Conditions will be issued with a compliance certificate, which verifies this.

Aptio®V UEFI Firmware from AMI participates in both the Arm Server Compliance Program and the Arm ServerReady Compliance Program. “AMI stands ready to assist manufacturers and integrators looking to develop and deploy Arm-based servers in conformance with these programs supported by a comprehensive set of firmware utilities and development tools,” said Stefano Righi, VP of Software Utilities R&D.
