AMI in the News

NORCROSS, GEORGIA – AMI, a global leader in BIOS, remote management tools, network data storage products and unique solutions based on the Linux® and Android™ operating systems, is pleased to announce our participation in Linux Vendor Firmware Service (LVFS).

LVFS provides resources and support for helping vendors package their firmware updates to support the use of this framework, and serves as an online repository for distributing these updates. LVFS also allows major Linux distributions to provide metadata to clients such as fwupdmgr and GNOME software.

AMI is now offering compatibility for updating our firmware using LVFS and assisting our valued customers on how to deploy firmware updates through LVFS.
