MegaRACĀ® MG9082 is designed to minimize board space usage and maximize functionality and configurability. Measuring only 9x9mm, the chip is equipped with internal temperature sensor, oscillator and flash memory. This may bring significant savings, depending from design and configuration of your project.
MG9082 implements the most advanced technologies in the field. It is the first enclosure management chip on the market to support International Blinking Pattern Interpretation (IBPI), the emerging standard that allows utilizing Serial GPIO for high-end servers and storage designs. Two on-board SGPIO ports support LED management for up to 8 SAS/SATA disk drives, and one SMBUS port connects with the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC).
Extremely versatile, MG9082 can be integrated in a variety of projects. Many reference designs are available from AMI.
