Technical Marketing Engineer

Location: Corporate Headquarters in Norcross, Georgia, USA

Description: The Technical Marketing Engineer will serve as technical reference for Sales and Marketing teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technical collateral across the entire product life cycle, including product presentations, datasheets, design guides and white papers.
  • Stay abreast of technology and business changes in the industry & communicate this information with sales and marketing
  • Demonstrate current products and prototypes of new products
  • Conduct introductory product training for customers and AMI employees
  • Assist sales through technical presentations and interaction with customer. Presentations may be conducted on-site or via web conference
  • Assist customers in defining requirements for their product solution
  • Provide product feedback to marketing, sales, engineering & management
  • Review and provide feedback on engineering, product and marketing documentation (both internal & external).
  • Research current technologies offered by industry partners and competitors, including competitive analysis (when applicable).
  • Participate in executive briefing and tradeshow speaking opportunities
  • Provide training to AMI employees and customers
  • Up to 60% travel required (both foreign and domestic)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent is required
  • Experience with creating multimedia content (audio/video for the web)
  • Experience maintaining web servers (for maintaining Customer Portal)
  • Prefer experience with applicable AMI products or in a related field (5 years for “senior” position; 10 years for “principal”)
  • Position requires presentation, public speaking & technical writing skills

Executive Assistant

Location: Corporate Headquarters in Norcross, Georgia, USA

Professional Executive Assistant with Shorthand or Speedwriting skills needed to support the Company President in day-to-day operation of business, manage building (maintenance & repair, space allocation, construction, etc.), oversee building security, and supervise receptionist/travel coordinator.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage President’s calendar and travel including international
  • Take dictation and transcription with high level of accuracy
  • Manage vendors and handle all building facilities
  • Supervise Receptionist/Travel Coordinator and serve as back-up
  • Plan and supervise all company-wide functions
  • Coordinate all international travel
  • Effectively screen telephone calls and visitors and route when necessary

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • High School Degree or higher; some college preferred
  • 5-10 years of demonstrated experience supporting senior level executives required
  • Proficient with Windows-based computer products and other software as designated by demands of the job
  • Proficient in shorthand/speedwriting required

Engineer

Description: Experience working with an 8051/8052. Should have extensive experience with C and at least some limited work with Assembly. Preferably someone who has worked with the Keil compiler, however, someone who has worked with SDCC should be able to transition easily. Applicant should be comfortable working in an embedded environment with secondary chips that handle specific functions like a USB controller or an LCD driver. Knowledgeable about the USB specification along with the debug addendum of the USB specification. The applicant should be able to write windows drivers for USB devices and should be able to write a FAT16/32 filesystem driver for the embedded platform.

Account Executive (BIOS Sales)

Location: Corporate Headquarters in Norcross, Georgia, USA

Description: Requires calling on and establishing new relationships with a broad range of computer companies from OEM's to end-users. The qualified candidate must posses a degree in a business or computer related field and be a US Citizen with no restrictions on travel. Required skills include but are not limited to, the ability to prepare and present presentations for mixed audiences, learn new and evolving technologies, work with engineering teams to deliver customer solutions/support and be a highly goal and objective driven individual. Cold calling and prospecting new accounts is required, along with managerial skills to maintain current customer relationships in the designated territory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain customer relationships within an existing territory
  • Prospect for new business and expand existing business
  • Generate new prospect leads and make outbound cold calls
  • Develop proposals to address customer needs in a variety of areas
  • Review and negotiate customer contracts
  • Provide forecast on a quarterly basis on the existing business in the designated territory
  • Ability to achieve deadlines and work in an office environment
  • Ability to travel as needed to suffice customer needs

Requirements:

  • Time Management and organizational skills required; positive attitude and go-get-it demeanor
  • A Bachelors Degree in a Business or Computer related field is desired with 2 – 4 years sales experience preferred
