The MegaRAC M300V KVM Server Management Card is an OPMA-compliant design that serves as a platform for AMI’s customization and engineering services. Based on AMI's flagship MegaRAC SPX firmware, the M300V can be modified to support any baseboard management controller (BMC) and can be widely customized using MegaRAC Development Studio (MDS).
The daughter card is based on AMI's successful MegaRAC line of PCI-based service processors, which AMI provided to OEMs for over a decade. The advantage of the daughter card design is that it can be deployed on an as-needed basis.
The M300V allows for complete server management, with text and graphical redirection, in a compact 2.50” x 2.75” form factor. The card enables OEMs to easily integrate KVM server management into their server designs, to help their customers prevent data loss and remotely recover from downtime from anywhere in the world.
About OPMA:
OPMA is part of the Facebook Open Compute Project Specification - a rapidly growing community of engineers around the world whose mission is to design and enable the delivery of the most efficient server, storage and data center hardware designs for scalable computing. AMI is proud to have a part in this project, which is supported by our Technology Partner AMD, along with other industry leaders.
