ATLANTA (Thursday, August 2, 2001) American Megatrends Inc. (AMI), the leader in storage and computing innovations worldwide, today announced it has renamed its sled chassis product to join its new ServTrends line that will offer multiple purpose server appliances for rack or tower integration.
The ServTrends™ 1100, previously named StorTrends™ 1100, is a custom-built sled chassis solution with a membrane keypad, LCD display and LEDs enclosed around AMI’s small form factor Indium NAS controller.
