ATLANTA (Tuesday, June 26, 2001) American Megatrends Inc. (AMI), the leader in storage and computing innovations worldwide, today announced it is shipping the first validation units of the StorTrends® 1312, a 3U 12 drive Ultra160 SCSI Network Attached Storage (NAS) or JBOD (just a bunch of disks) solution.

Full availability of the StorTrends 1312 in JBOD (Just a Bunch of Disks) and NAS versions will be available August 15, 2001. MSRP ranges from $3,479 to $5,559 (drives, CPU and memory are not included in this pricing), depending upon the configuration.
