AMI will be located in booth number L1229A of the Nangang Exhibition Hall of the Taipei World Trade Center for the duration of this year’s COMPUTEX TAIPEI event.
COMPUTEX TAIPEI is the largest computer exhibition in Asia and the second largest of its kind in the world, next to CeBIT in Germany. Every year, the event draws observers, analysts and journalists from all over the world - to discover and report the latest technologies, developments and trends introduced at the exhibition.
At this year’s event, AMI will showcase an array of key AMI products with a focus on how AMI provides total solutions to OEMs and ODMs, in addition to the BIOS and remote management products for which AMI is so well-known. With several key foundational technologies - for which AMI holds or has applied for numerous patents - AMI is able to offer integrated solutions and strategies that help AMI’s customers increase ease-of-use and improve efficiency by speeding development times and reducing time-to-market.
AMI’s booth will include live demonstrations and presentations of touch-based and graphical pre-boot solutions with Aptio® UEFI BIOS firmware for Intel, AMD and ARM-architecture platforms. AMI will also provide a look at the newest diagnostic, debug and provisioning tools for BIOS development. AMI’s MegaRAC Remote and Server Management Division will showcase the latest versions of MegaRAC® XMS and MegaRAC® SPX, along with the Digbil™ Digital Signage Management ecosystem. Additionally, AMI will present its DuOS™ Dual Android/Windows Environment for x86 Devices, StorTrends® network storage management products and more.
“AMI is proud to once again have the opportunity to showcase our technology innovations at COMPUTEX TAIPEI - a high visibility event in the heart of one of the world’s key manufacturing and innovation hubs,” said Subramonian Shankar, President and CEO of American Megatrends.
“This year at COMPUTEX, AMI intends to highlight our position as the only BIOS vendor that can provide complete, end-to-end solutions to support the overall computing architecture. In addition to our BIOS and UEFI firmware, AMI’s technology covers fields including mobile, pre-boot applications, storage solutions and server remote management, along with the recent addition of support for ARM-based platforms. At COMPUTEX, AMI will show the world how our broad product and technology coverage enable us to adapt to market changes with a balanced strategy, by adopting ‘integration of technologies’ approach. For our customers, this approach means that AMI not only can provide peak technologies in our core competencies, but also unique integration of these technologies as a complete package of services,” he added.
