The BIOS allows enabling or disabling control over the speeds of the cooler fan and the system fan. With this feature (called Smart Q-FAN) enabled, you can set up a threshold CPU temperature when the fans start working and gain speed in proportion to the temperature growth.

They use AMIBIOS®. Among good things about the BIOS, I would single out the CPU temperature monitoring by the external and integrated thermal diodes, like in the ABIT board.

It is only AMIFlash from American Megatrends that is the best universal means to update most system BIOSes. It boasts a number of unique features that make a really compelling advantage over the other similar programs.
